UX Designer - design systems (remote)

Bright Cobalt Early Learning Group is an early-learning provider in Charlotte. We are hiring a UX Designer to take on design systems. We celebrate small wins and steady routines. What you will do • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Design for tasks around tuition and subsidies that people do under time pressure. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in tuition and subsidies. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Charlotte. • We reply to every applicant.
