UX Designer - design systems (remote)

Westbrook Amber Medical is a Wichita company producing monitoring and surgical equipment. We are hiring a UX Designer to take on design systems. You would join a large organisation of about 863 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Design for tasks around production lots that people do under time pressure. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Background in production lots. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Wichita. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
