UX Designer - design systems (remote)

Fernwood Willow Financial serves customers across Minneapolis with accounts, loans and payments. We are hiring a UX Designer to take on design systems. Trust is the product, so accuracy and clarity matter. What you will do • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Design for tasks around payment disputes that people do under time pressure. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Background in payment disputes. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Minneapolis. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
