UX Designer - design systems (remote)

Westbrook Pike Learning Group operates schools and learning programmes around Dallas. We are hiring a UX Designer to take on design systems. Collaboration between teachers and staff is strong. What you will do • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Design for tasks around school calendars that people do under time pressure. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Background in school calendars. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Dallas. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
