UX Designer - design systems (remote)

Harborlight Bright Markets is a New Orleans retailer with stores, a distribution centre and online ordering. We are hiring a UX Designer to take on design systems. We like people who know our customers by name. What you will do • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Design for tasks around supplier deliveries that people do under time pressure. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Background in supplier deliveries. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in New Orleans. • We reply to every applicant.
