UX Designer - design systems (remote)

We are growing our team at Highbridge Basin Transit Planning and adding a UX Designer whose main responsibility will be design systems. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Design for tasks around accessibility audits that people do under time pressure. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Background in accessibility audits. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Richmond. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
