UX Designer - design systems (remote)

We are growing our team at Cedar River Community Partners and adding a UX Designer whose main responsibility will be design systems. You would join a small organisation of about 72 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Design for tasks around client intake that people do under time pressure. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Background in client intake. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in San Diego. • We reply to every applicant.
