UX Designer - design systems (remote)

Stonegate Cobalt Markets Group is a Albuquerque retailer with stores, a distribution centre and online ordering. We are hiring a UX Designer to take on design systems. You would join a small organisation of about 27 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Design for tasks around store inventory that people do under time pressure. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in store inventory. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Albuquerque. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
