UX Designer - design systems (remote)

Harborlight Meridian Arts Center Group is looking for a UX Designer. The job centres on design systems for event logistics, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Evenings and weekends are part of the job. What you will do • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in event logistics. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Phoenix. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
