UX Designer - design systems (remote)

Amberfield Timber Medical Group builds devices used by hospitals and clinics, with its team based in Louisville. We are hiring a UX Designer to take on design systems. Documentation is part of the craft. What you will do • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Design for tasks around regulatory submissions that people do under time pressure. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Background in regulatory submissions. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Louisville. • We reply to every applicant.
