UX Designer - design systems (remote)

We are growing our team at Harborlight Ivory Banking Services and adding a UX Designer whose main responsibility will be design systems. We keep decisions close to customers and expect people to explain things plainly. What you will do • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Design for tasks around fraud alerts that people do under time pressure. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in fraud alerts. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Virginia Beach. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
