UX Designer - design systems (remote)

Fernwood Beacon Financial Group serves customers across Rochester with accounts, loans and payments, and we need a UX Designer to lead our design systems. Trust is the product, so accuracy and clarity matter. What you will do • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Design for tasks around account servicing that people do under time pressure. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Background in account servicing. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Rochester. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
