UX Designer - design systems (remote)

Greenridge Summit Markets operates grocery and general-merchandise stores around Cincinnati. We are hiring a UX Designer to take on design systems. We are friendly and busy, especially on weekends. What you will do • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Design for tasks around store inventory that people do under time pressure. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in store inventory. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Cincinnati. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
