UX Designer - design systems (remote)

Summit Lakeside Health Partners is looking for a UX Designer. The job centres on design systems for electronic records, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 44 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Design for tasks around electronic records that people do under time pressure. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in electronic records. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Seattle. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
