UX Designer - design systems (remote)

Rivermark North Learning Group is an education provider in Cincinnati serving students and families. We are hiring a UX Designer to take on design systems. Families are partners. What you will do • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Design for tasks around school calendars that people do under time pressure. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Background in school calendars. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Cincinnati. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
