UX Designer - design systems (remote)

Greenridge Loom Medical designs and makes medical devices in Baltimore. We are hiring a UX Designer to take on design systems. You would join a large organisation of about 243 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Design for tasks around training materials that people do under time pressure. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in training materials. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Baltimore. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
