UX Designer - design systems (remote)

Ironwood Field Financial provides savings, lending and payment services from New Orleans. We are hiring a UX Designer to take on design systems. Teams collaborate across risk, service and technology. What you will do • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Background in loan applications. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in New Orleans. • We reply to every applicant.
