UX Designer - design systems (remote)

Ironwood Wilder Medical Partners is a Chicago company producing monitoring and surgical equipment. We are hiring a UX Designer to take on design systems. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Design for tasks around complaint handling that people do under time pressure. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in complaint handling. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Chicago. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
