UX Designer - design systems (remote)

Clearpath Junction Community Partners Group is looking for a UX Designer. The job centres on design systems for grant reporting, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 455 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Design for tasks around grant reporting that people do under time pressure. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Background in grant reporting. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Minneapolis. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
