UX Designer - design systems (remote)

Lumen Quill Transit Planning helps transport agencies around Little Rock design routes and schedules, and we need a UX Designer to lead our design systems. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Design for tasks around fare systems that people do under time pressure. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Background in fare systems. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Little Rock. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
