UX Designer - design systems (remote)

Highbridge Maple Press is a printer and publisher in Detroit serving local and national clients. We are hiring a UX Designer to take on design systems. We like people who notice details. What you will do • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Design for tasks around print quotes that people do under time pressure. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in print quotes. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Detroit. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
