UX Designer - design systems (remote)

Summit Bright Early Learning Group runs childcare centres in Cincinnati caring for infants, toddlers and preschoolers, and we need a UX Designer to lead our design systems. You would join a small organisation of about 48 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Design for tasks around enrolment that people do under time pressure. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Background in enrolment. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Cincinnati. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
