UX Designer - design systems (remote)

Bluepeak Sparrow Transit Planning helps transport agencies around Salt Lake City design routes and schedules. We are hiring a UX Designer to take on design systems. We like people who ride the bus and notice when things do not work. What you will do • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Background in service alerts. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Salt Lake City. • We reply to every applicant.
