UX Designer - design systems (remote)

Westbrook Vista Community Partners is looking for a UX Designer. The job centres on design systems for benefits enrolment, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Design for tasks around benefits enrolment that people do under time pressure. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in benefits enrolment. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Spokane. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
