UX Designer - design systems (remote)

Foxglove Kestrel Learning Group is an education provider in Minneapolis serving students and families, and we need a UX Designer to lead our design systems. You would join a small organisation of about 179 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Design for tasks around attendance records that people do under time pressure. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Background in attendance records. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Minneapolis. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
