UX Designer - design systems (remote)

Greenridge Juniper Banking Services provides everyday banking and small-business lending around Sacramento, and we need a UX Designer to lead our design systems. You would join a large organisation of about 891 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Design for tasks around account openings that people do under time pressure. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in account openings. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Sacramento. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
