UX Designer - design systems (remote)

We are growing our team at Silverline Granite Insurance and adding a UX Designer whose main responsibility will be design systems. You would join a large organisation of about 539 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in claims. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Jackson. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
