UX Designer - design systems (remote)

We are growing our team at Northwind Iron Medical and adding a UX Designer whose main responsibility will be design systems. Documentation is part of the craft. What you will do • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Design for tasks around complaint handling that people do under time pressure. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in complaint handling. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Salt Lake City. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
