UX Designer - design systems (remote)

Foxglove Ridge Early Learning runs childcare centres in Albuquerque caring for infants, toddlers and preschoolers. We are hiring a UX Designer to take on design systems. Low staff turnover is a goal we take seriously. What you will do • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Background in family communication. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Albuquerque. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
