UX Designer - design systems (remote)

Amberfield Lakeside Transit Planning helps transport agencies around Wichita design routes and schedules. We are hiring a UX Designer to take on design systems. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Design for tasks around survey data that people do under time pressure. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in survey data. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Wichita. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
