UX Designer - design systems (Raleigh, NC)

Nova Harbor Banking Services provides everyday banking and small-business lending around Raleigh, and we need a UX Designer to lead our design systems. You would join a small organisation of about 41 people based in Raleigh. What you will do • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Design for tasks around account openings that people do under time pressure. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in account openings. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Raleigh, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
