UX Designer - design systems (Providence, RI)

Redstone Rook Pharma is looking for a UX Designer. The job centres on design systems for cleanroom operations, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Design for tasks around cleanroom operations that people do under time pressure. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Background in cleanroom operations. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Providence, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
