UX Designer - design systems (Providence, RI)

Stonegate Lantern Markets serves neighbourhoods around Providence with fresh food and everyday goods, and we need a UX Designer to lead our design systems. Managers started on the floor. What you will do • Design for tasks around supplier deliveries that people do under time pressure. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in supplier deliveries. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Providence. • We reply to every applicant.
