UX Designer - design systems (Providence, RI)

Silverline Lantern Early Learning runs childcare centres in Providence caring for infants, toddlers and preschoolers, and we need a UX Designer to lead our design systems. We celebrate small wins and steady routines. What you will do • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Design for tasks around classroom supplies that people do under time pressure. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in classroom supplies. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Providence. • We reply to every applicant.
