UX Designer - design systems (Portland, OR)

We are growing our team at Foxglove Vale Pharma and adding a UX Designer whose main responsibility will be design systems. We work to strict standards and value careful documentation. What you will do • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in release testing. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Portland. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
