UX Designer - design systems (Portland, OR)

Foxglove Rowan Banking Services provides everyday banking and small-business lending around Portland. We are hiring a UX Designer to take on design systems. Most people here started in a branch and stayed. What you will do • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Design for tasks around fraud alerts that people do under time pressure. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in fraud alerts. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Portland, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
