UX Designer - design systems (Pittsburgh, PA)

Silverline Sparrow Arts Center is looking for a UX Designer. The job centres on design systems for visitor services, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We run on creativity, deadlines and a lot of goodwill. What you will do • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Design for tasks around visitor services that people do under time pressure. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in visitor services. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Pittsburgh. • We reply to every applicant.
