UX Designer - design systems (Pittsburgh, PA)

Bright Willow Early Learning Group is looking for a UX Designer. The job centres on design systems for meal programmes, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Children come first and so does looking after the teachers. What you will do • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Design for tasks around meal programmes that people do under time pressure. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Background in meal programmes. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Pittsburgh. • We reply to every applicant.
