UX Designer - design systems (Pittsburgh, PA)

Ironwood Beacon Financial Partners serves customers across Pittsburgh with accounts, loans and payments. We are hiring a UX Designer to take on design systems. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Pittsburgh. What you will do • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Design for tasks around loan applications that people do under time pressure. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Background in loan applications. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Pittsburgh. • We reply to every applicant.
