UX Designer - design systems (Pittsburgh, PA)

Fernwood Thistle Learning Group runs classrooms and tutoring across the Pittsburgh area, and we need a UX Designer to lead our design systems. We follow the school calendar and we like people who like learning. What you will do • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in family communication. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Pittsburgh. • We reply to every applicant.
