UX Designer - design systems (Pittsburgh, PA)

Nova Hollow Arts Center is looking for a UX Designer. The job centres on design systems for event logistics, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 11 people based in Pittsburgh. What you will do • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Design for tasks around event logistics that people do under time pressure. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Background in event logistics. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Pittsburgh. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
