UX Designer - design systems (Phoenix, AZ)

Redstone Vale Community Partners is a Phoenix charity working with residents on basic needs and opportunity, and we need a UX Designer to lead our design systems. Mission matters here, and so does looking after staff. What you will do • Design for tasks around donor records that people do under time pressure. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Background in donor records. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Phoenix. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
