UX Designer - design systems (Phoenix, AZ)

Stonegate Umber Banking Services is a community-focused bank in Phoenix serving households and small businesses, and we need a UX Designer to lead our design systems. You would join a large organisation of about 869 people based in Phoenix. What you will do • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Design for tasks around loan files that people do under time pressure. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Background in loan files. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Phoenix, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
