UX Designer - design systems (Phoenix, AZ)

Northwind Ridge Learning Group is looking for a UX Designer. The job centres on design systems for student accounts, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Families are partners. What you will do • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Design for tasks around student accounts that people do under time pressure. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in student accounts. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Phoenix, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
