UX Designer - design systems (Philadelphia, PA)

Bright Willow Early Learning Group is looking for a UX Designer. The job centres on design systems for classroom supplies, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Philadelphia. What you will do • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Background in classroom supplies. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Philadelphia. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
