UX Designer - design systems (Omaha, NE)

Stonegate Loom Learning Group is looking for a UX Designer. The job centres on design systems for school calendars, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Families are partners. What you will do • Design for tasks around school calendars that people do under time pressure. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Background in school calendars. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Omaha. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
