UX Designer - design systems (Omaha, NE)

Greenridge Thistle Early Learning Partners runs childcare centres in Omaha caring for infants, toddlers and preschoolers, and we need a UX Designer to lead our design systems. Low staff turnover is a goal we take seriously. What you will do • Design for tasks around meal programmes that people do under time pressure. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Background in meal programmes. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Omaha, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
