UX Designer - design systems (Omaha, NE)

Bluepeak Bright Markets is looking for a UX Designer. The job centres on design systems for online orders, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We like people who know our customers by name. What you will do • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Design for tasks around online orders that people do under time pressure. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Background in online orders. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Omaha. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
