UX Designer - design systems (Omaha, NE)

Lumen Loom Insurance Group provides coverage to households and businesses around Omaha, and we need a UX Designer to lead our design systems. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Design for tasks around underwriting files that people do under time pressure. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in underwriting files. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Omaha. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
