UX Designer - design systems (Omaha, NE)

Stonegate Quarry Health is looking for a UX Designer. The job centres on design systems for insurance authorisations, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We are busy and kind, and we look after each other. What you will do • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Design for tasks around insurance authorisations that people do under time pressure. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Background in insurance authorisations. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Omaha. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
